Exercises for Cellulite – The Most Useful Exercises to Get Rid Of Cellulite

What exercises to get rid of cellulite should I be using? What are the most effective exercises for cellulite? These are both great questions and will be the topic of today’s article.

Dozens of cellulite treatments exist ranging from lasers to caffeine-based creams to massagers; some are a bit expensive so you need to make sure that the treatment selected is best for you. Why spend money on something if it’s not going to actually help you.

First, in response to our first question “what exercises to get rid of cellulite should I be using?” , Without question the exercises need to be targeted in order to achieve the results you want. Below I’ve provided a few tips on what I consider the most effective exercises to get rid of cellulite. Remember these exercises for cellulite are only part of the solution, the others keys to success will discussed also.

One of the best (and often overlooked), cheapest and easiest to access exercises for cellulite is to just get out and walk. Walking at a brisk rate can burn hundreds of calories in a single session.

Have at least 30 minutes of walking to burn those ugly cellulites you have. A brisk and regular 30-minute-walk has shown to be very positive for people dealing with cellulites. Begin by walking short distances and raising some weights in chorus. It does not sound new, however with the right speed and course, you can burn more than 300 calories in an hour. With this, the heart works more, thus improving your system. More importantly, this tones your thighs, arms, buttocks and hips and burns the fat in those areas.

2 more great exercises for cellulite are jogging and running. You can also join a run or jogging group in local community.

As mentioned above, another useful exercise to get rid of cellulite is jogging and running. You should try and do this for 30 minutes every day as this tones your fat-prone areas. Although slow-burning, you know results from jogging would be good if performed continuously. You’ll just observe the lumpy look of your skin is not as obvious as it was some time ago. Running on the other hand can be intense, but isn’t it the point of “no pain, no gain”?  These are the most basic exercises for cellulite reduction.

Treadmills and Elliptical Machines

One best known exercises to get rid of cellulite is using a treadmill or elliptical machine. If you live in a Condo or go to a gym you should have access to these machines. These can really speed up how much cellulite is being removed.

Lunges

Warming up with lunges is a great exercise to get rid of cellulite. Not only is this centered on toning the thighs and the buttocks but also on enhancing the elasticity of the skin leading to cellulite mark disappearance in just a short time. Lunges are effective when done in about 40 repetitions a day.

Mixed Exercises for Cellulite

Have a series of different work outs. You can alternate work-out routines to keep yourself interested.

High Raise

One of my personal favorite exercises to get rid of cellulite is the high raise. Lie in a prone position, and then raise the legs so the feet are above a few inches from the floor. Bend the knees and hold that stance for 15 seconds. Gradually unbend the knees to the ground and then repeat as desired.

Kick

While sitting on the floor, bend one knee and straighten out the other. Raise the straightened leg for at least 6 inches and hold for 5 seconds. Repeat the step on the other side.

Pony Kick

Go down on the elbows and knees. While with the back in flat position, move the left limb to 45° with the knees bent and heel pointing up. Maintain this stance for 5 seconds. Repeat with the other thigh.

Thigh Chair

From the wall, position about 1 ft. away with the feet straight ahead. Slip the body down the wall until you look like sitting with the thighs at right angles to the surface. Maintain this stance for 2 minutes.

Swimming

Probably one of the top exercises to get rid of cellulite and tone most of the muscles, swimming is both fun and worthwhile.

Anaerobic Exercise

This is an indirect yet valuable exercise to get rid of cellulite. This work out furthers your metabolism, which is, very critical in the fat burning process.

You have to separate the fact from the fiction that cellulite is simply a buildup of fat. True, it is mostly fat but damaged that has resulted from poor circulation and inactive lifestyle. So, one needs to look after one’s weight and don’t just stick your butt on the sofa. Start now and work out the above exercises to get rid of cellulite in next to no time.

Does exercise get rid of cellulite? I think we answered that question with a resounding “Yes”. If you use the correct exercises for cellulite and stick to the program, you have a great chance of succeeding.
